Hunting out loud; The rising guild of hunters. (anyone and crew members welcome)

The accordion played.

The sky was grey above the seas that day; The waves rocked the old, mouldy but intact ship gently up and down on the surface of the equally grey waters. The Shank Marlin continued onwards, its two sail masts hanging out the sails catching the wind.

Garret sat at the table on the deck with 4 other people. Each held 5 die and a cup for their own. The game? Liars Dice. Garret had no idea why he loved it, but hell, he just did.

A deep hooting was heard under the deck. Garret looked up at one of the men at the table. "Get down there n see if the damn bluey's rilin' up the other brig monkeys. The subordinate sighed, got up and went to climb down to below the decks, where their only gain from this entire expedition was sitting in a cage among all other empty cages holding lesser or no beast whatsoever. Blugoris didn't fetch as much of a good price as they used to. The market of commerce was funny like that.

Lieg lay lazily under the table at Garret's feet. The leopard's tail swished left and right in a slow, sweeping motion. Garret sighed, and looked out to sea. At least an hour or two before they got into the harbour; "That Silent Wolfs headed this way, looks like," one of the grunts at the table said, yawning seconds after the sentence. "Sounds odd, if yer ask me."

Garret sighed. "Ain't our place te question good fortune whence it walks our way. 3 fives." He added, looking at the 3 die under his cup. Would they know if he was bluffing or calling it right?

The accordion kept playing, even as the ship pulled into harbour on the island.

Luis walked off the ship and then held his backpack firmly as he exited, he knew what he had to do, he saw someone nearby "Eh you, where is the boss of this place?"

Jake walked off the ship with a huge gorilla following behind him he heard the man Yelling so he walked over towards the man not saying a thing.

A trio of poachers walked off the old boat.

"Hell," one of them was growling sullenly "Sarceau screwed that San Faldo gig up real bad. Couldn't he just shoot the bloody flying chicken!?"

"Don't yip Rocco." the second grunt remarked, amused. "Thats the boss' job. N' ours is to find that Silent Wolf fella. Better get this gig done."

The island sat tropical under a grey sky; a moody day, but a lively town. None of the buildings were any higher than one story, but trade here was among the best businesses out on the oceans. Aside from Shabondy.

The third looked around, then saw an ale tavern at the side of the street. "Well, fellas, we'd best be goin in that place." he decided. "Chances are, this wolf character'll be a seedy one."

So they walked in, ordered some arrack and waited.

Luis walked into the tavern, he stood out because his precious rifle was hanging over his shoulders with his back pack. Some of the people whipered in excitement, they all knew who the legendary sniper was around this area, he had done many things. Luis sat at the bar and ordered his favourite whiskey.

Jake walked over to the bar,"Ritoushori stand here I don't want everybody frighten by you" the gorilla stood beside the door and droped on the ground and fell asleep, Jake looked at him " wow you are so lazy" he then walks into the tavern and sat a table he order a glass of water and waited..

The grunt called Rocco looked up after a swig of arrack (the taste of which made the back of his head feel like spontaneously exploding) and took instant notice of the sleeping gorilla. He looked up and saw a man with a glass of water sitting at that table. He then took notice of another individual, this one sitting at the bar with a glass of whiskey.

Rocco then said "Well fellas, that's gotta be that Silent wolf character. S'cuse meh," he got up, and strolled along to the bar. When he got there, he sat, arrack bottle in hand, he glanced at the man with his rifle, and asked, "Know somethin bout silent wolves?"

The other two sitting at their tables stared at the gorilla. "Damn, that big fella's gotta be worth half my grannie's falsetto silver teeth!"

"Shut it. Yer granny had no teeth Fabre." the last grunt snapped; he could tell that the man sitting at the table owned the gorilla.

Luis stared up at the man talking to him "Stupid fool...wolves are not noisy and dont make suddn movements...."In a swift move Luis grabbed his rifle and pointed at Roccos face directly skillfully with one hand "At this range i can blow your head clean off your shoulders.... do you want that?"

Jake drunked a sip of his water and watched as the man approach the other guy at the table he looks over and sees the other two guys looking at Shori he just ignored them and continued to waited to see what will happen..

Rocco stumbled; he did not expect this. "Geez f-f-fella," he mumbled, caring little for his words and more for the gun barrel in his face. He tried to speak some more, but he wasn't accustomed to a point blank view down a rifle's shaft.

Dotorre, the third grunt, looked worryingly at the commotion. "Shit," he swore. "Fabre, go bail that idiot ou-" he froze mid sentence as he saw Fabre sneak from the table to the man and his gorilla. Everyone in the bar was distracted by the commotion up front, no one noticed Fabre slip a collar out from his shirt, and lift it towards the gorilla.

Jake didn't pay any attetion to Shori on the floor sleeping he was to busy watching the two men at the counter, just as the men got another step close he then stood up over the men and did a low growl but didn't attack the man

Luis pulled out his pistol and pointed it at the other guy "Lets all calm down, we dont want people to die do we? What do you want with me i wonder?"

Fabre froze. He began to back away from the tall gorilla, slowly.

Dotorre did a facepalm. Here he was, grouped with the idiots of the pack.

Rocco managed to regain his wits. "We were told that someone signed up fer our little 'business'. We were-"

"That'll be all." A voice said lowly but loudly from the tavern's entrance; Garret walked in, eyeing the three of his grunts with distaste. "Nothing te see ere folks." Garret announced calmly, observing the gorilla with interest. He went to the bar, and sat where Rocco was sitting before.

"Those three? they're the stage idiots. Get you and your posse's sorry asses back to the ship. Get gone." he added to the three; they rushed out without a second word.

"Nyways," Garret continued at his pace, "know bout the Will~Ie Bag 'n' Tag enterprise, Mistuh' Krieg?"

Luis then smiled and holstered all his weapons "Yes ive been told you people are interested in acquiring my services...... you are quite famous in the east blue and the grandline for that matter....... you are?"

"Well then, allow me teh formally introduce me." Garret stood up. "The name's Garret Finch, lieutenant of the Mojave Fang branch." He tapped the bar. "Get some more whiskey ere barkeep!" He turned to watch Jake and his gorilla. "Interestin bunch yeah?" he remarked.

Jake petted his gorilla on the back to calm his down " Calm down big fella" Jake then looks over at Garret " Oi, what was that all about your guy harassing my friend here"..

Garret laughed. "Mah apologies suh. The men employed by the company are mostly made up of morons who can't think fer the life of them. I apologise on account of their bad behaviour." his face then became stone serious. "That aside, have the Marines been troubling you'self n your friend there, Mistuh Soul?" Garret knew a good opportunity when he saw one.

Jake looked at the man and finishes off his glass of water " Marines? haha not at all, but I don't remember telling you my name" the gorilla stood up behind Jake and gave the man very cold stare....

Luis laughs loudly, "you sure know your info mr Finch, i think you are just a hoot, but the question remains, are you hiring?"

Garret launged in return; a snarky Marine was as good a marine as any. "Yessuh, we're hirin'." He said to Luis. He looked up to Jake, and regarded the gorilla as well, and smiled. "Well Mistuh Soul, it's low, but you've a price on your head. D'you like to read?" Garret added; he had noticed the pocket book tucked in Jake's pocket, and to his reasoning, not many people put a book in their pockets unless they liked the art of literature.

Jake laughs " haha you got me I do love to read" Jake cuts his eye at his gorilla, the gorilla grunts and drops down from standing on his legs to his normal position " If you guys are hiring i wouldn't mind joining also I have nothing better to do"..

Luis smiled "Wolves dont howl alone...... i guess i can join your little club... if you pay well that is, i have an expensive lifestyle Mr Finch....."

Garret beamed. "Well then, I am sure this life style will suit you fine gents perfectly. If you bothe are willin' we can take a walk back to our humble ship and discuss the rest there. Agreed?" Garret had nothing to lie or scam anyone about; in fact, hiring was the most honest process of the business (better than the other processes that is)

Jake stretches " Well lead the way im right behind you"

Luis picked up his things "Ok fine lead the way, lets solve the mystery...."
