Weapon name: Lantern scythe
Description: A long, thin scythe that has a relatively straight edge blade one metre long edged with sea stone, with a fluorescent tube attached to the top. A thin line of fishing wire extends from the tip of the tube, and rolls around a pulley mechanism attached to the opposide end of the blade tip, and runs down the light weight solid metal shaft; the wire ends at the handle, connected to a switch at the tip of the handle, which has rough velcro weaving wrapping around it. The shaft extends for a metre more and ends in a hook at the bottom. There are 3 hinge parts at 3 points of the scythe; firstly, just below the blade, then above the handle, and halfway down the bottom half of the shaft below the handle.
Abilities: this blade can be folded and stored beneath clothes or where one would sheath a sword. It is lightweight and swings fast, but durable enough to handle a sword fight or a hunt. The hook at the scythe's pommel end can snag objects which would usually be out of reach. The switch just above the handle can be flipped, which tugs on the wire connected to the fluorescent tube on top of the blade. This allows the scythe to function as a light source.
History: Found by Silt in Whiskey Peak, and modified to be foldable; he also modified the weapon to shed light.
