Clothing: Her clothes are entirely black and white and she always is wearing something with a black and white diamond print. Her clothes are usually very feminine, eccentric and they are often described to look like doll clothes. Her favorite outfit consists of a black, lacy bustier, a white Elizabethan era neck ruff with a black lining, a tattered, white tulle skirt that connects around the bustier except for the front and black and white diamond-print leggings.
Accessories: A small, ruched black and white armband on her left arm
Extra: Her face is always painted white. She wears heavy eyeliner and black eye shadow around her eyes and beneath her eyes are two, painted black hearts.

History:
Shira was the daughter of a wealthy merchant, but never knew her mother. She was an exceptionally gifted dancer with amazing flexibility. Although her father paid for her education, dance lessons and self-defense lessons and gave her amazing gifts, he never was there for her. Shira grew discontent with her life and ran away from home at 17. She jumped from ship to ship, whether they be pirates, bounty hunters or marines and distanced herself from home as much as possible. She was talented at stowing away in small places because of her flexibility, but she found a place to stop and begin a new life.
For about a year, she worked odd jobs as a street performer, in a number of freak-shows and other such things. She was found by Jean “The Ringmaster” Lafayette one day when she was about 18, while she was performing on a street corner. He was intrigued by her ability and invited her out for a drink to learn more about her. When he learned that she had been trained in martial arts and areas of rokushiki, he asked her to join him in a life of piracy.
From that day forward, she and Jean were inseparable. He provided her a home and the attention she never received from her father, and she provided him a useful ally, useful abilities and good company. The two have been known to have a very on and off, and in a very unusual romantic relationship too. It really all depended on Jean’s mood and Shira became very attuned to his personality.
Personality:
Shira over the years has become a lot like Jean: eccentric, sadistic and cruel. Her personality isn’t quite as strong as his though. Very much like her captain, she is spontaneous and runs strictly on impulse. She is amused by a wide variety of things and is often smiling or very giggly.
Her former self shows through from time to time, but only to those who find a place in her soft spot. She hasn’t quite lost her sense of humanity yet. She is also quite a social butterfly. If she decides she likes you, she will be sure to talk your ear off about anything and everything.
