| Name: Jean “The Ringmaster” Lafayette Age: 45 Bounty: 220,000 Belli Species: Human Occupation: Captain Allegiance: Pirates de les Cirque Home Village/Ocean: Baterilla/ South Blue Appearance: Height: 5' 9" Weight: 152 lbs Hair: Short, unkempt black hair. Eye: Dark brown Skin: Pale Physique: Slim and athletic Clothing: He often dresses to look like a circus ringmaster, but always with some eccentric twist. He wears only black and white and his outfits are very gaudy. Picture: Working on it History: Never really knowing either of his parents, Jean was a wandering child that was in and out of orphanages, sailing from island to island, trying to find his true calling. At the age of 12, he joined a circus and became one of the trapeze artists. He traveled around with them, performing on various islands until he was 21. After an argument with the new ringmaster that had taken over after the original had died, he took off with a group of pirates. While traveling with them, he lucked into finding the Nemu Nemu no Mi. After a year or so with them, learning all the tricks of the pirate trade, he put the crew to sleep and killed every single one of them, then set off to start his own crew. The first decade or so, he was very successful in gaining crewmates. After a dispute with Captain Adrienne J.S. Edwards of the Midnight Marauders over a woman named Margot de le Veut, the Pirates de les Cirque and the Yoruyonaka Kaizokudan became sworn enemies. The original crew would remember that day well, but they didn't stick around. People found it hard to deal with Jean's eccentricities and violent outbursts. Currently, he has only a handful of crewmen left, but they are still as ruthless and infamous as ever. Personality: Jean is a rather strange man. He is eccentric, sadistic, masochistic and cruel. He never thinks before he acts and he runs strictly on impulse. He has never been known to have any moral values whatsoever. He's a born leader and he is very intelligent, but also considered absolutely insane. He can be entertained or distracted by some of the most trivial and strange things, but when it comes to battling, he takes himself very seriously. If you're ever targeted by him, you had better pray you can defeat him. He plays mind games with his opponents and he loves to torture them in very personal ways. When it comes to mercy, it honestly depends on his mood, but if he's defeated, there's a sure bet he'll come after you with a vengeance. In short, he is one sociopathic maniac you don’t want to mess with. Ship: Le Mystère Ship Flag: Devil Fruit: Nemu Nemu no Mi type: Paramecia effect: The Nemu Nemu no Mi, can make anyone fall asleep. This fruit's main power, can put an opponent to sleep through hypnosis. This fruit doesn't seem to have any specific weaknesses, aside from the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses. Weapons/Items: Wakizashi and a pistol Goals: Simply to be…

| I'm sure I listed a wakizashi and a pistol as his weapons. Glad you like the name The devil's fruit is used in a filler episode and in the video games, so I'm pretty sure I'm good there. | |

| The limits weren't really stated, so I'm just going to say you can only target 5-6 people at once and they should be within a 20 ft radius for the effects to take hold. | |

| I also think that he can't just think it, it has to be a spoken command type thing and the command has to be heard and understood. | |

| It could be, depending on how the user chooses to use his powers. I'm sure there are other factors that could cancel out the effects, such as Haki and other things. Perhaps for humor's sake he could fall asleep as well if he hears his own command. | |

| Really? That's such a major thing in One Piece now. I understand not letting people start out with Haki, but maybe it could be something earned. Iunno. Just a thought. | |

| Haki is too powerful. If a man had haki and a gun, he could probably make it shoot through three ships in one shot. |

| major, the reason we dont have haki here i not what you have said at all, admin sama said we do not allow haki because we do not know everything about haki yet, so we need to wait till that happens, and also stop posting on character sheets that are not yours | |
