Battle: Locat Marsh vs Goran Derovane

Goran smiles. He begins flying towards Locat, forms some spikes out of his staff (see the spoiler), and hits him in his torso, while hopping few inches off the ground and slashing Locat with both feet.

Locat ducks the staff like a limbo artist with one hand in the ground. He uses the other hand and its blade to block one leg-blade but gets a graze in the side from the other even as he dodges. With one leg on the ground he brings the other up, swiftly to a vertical position while under Goran. Reinforcing his leg with as much mercury as possible, he effectivley kicks Goran in the groin.

Goran notices what Locat is attempting and swings a little forward using dials, redirecting the hit to the tailbone instead. "That's a cheap trick!" After that, Goran bursts backwards, lands, and starts flying upwards, trying to shoot at Locat at the same time.

Being thrown in a flip by the momentum of the kick, he lands on his feet and dashes backwards from the machine gun fire towards a rock formation. "Cheap or nor, it works!" Locat shouts back as he fires a spear at Goran. Then he disappears in the formations.

Goran flies to about 30m, dodging the spear. He starts patrolling around the battlefield, ready to shoot anything in sight.

Spoiler:

Multiple mercury bullets suddenly careen towards Goran from under one of the outcroppings.

"Did you think I wouldn't expect that?!" Goran points his dials up and charges a short distance down and starts flying to the direction of the bullets' origin. At the same time, Goran shapes his staff into a shield.

Locat runs from cover under Goran and fire a few bullets as he goes.
As Goran comes closer to ground, Locat turns around and beginds shaping a maul. He accelerates to superuman level speeds and jumps to pound Goran with an upwards strike.
OOC: Momentous Smash with a jump.

Goran smiled widely. "I've planned this for a while..." He shaped the shield back into a staff and flicked it like a whip... which it is. Goran grew spikes out of the whip and made it curl around Locat.

Despite the spikes boring in him, the momentum was still there and he still had a maul. He shaped the maul into tendrils and barreled into Goran. The tendrils wrapped around Goran.
OOC: Mercury seep.

"It seems we're both stuck." Goran pulled his left arm back, and punched at Locat's stomach with all his strenght. "My left arm is still free!"

Locat curled to redirect the hit to his side, where it did less damage. He slipped his right leg free by smoothing out the whip with mercury and brought it under his knee. He turned it into a blade pointing upwards from his kneecap and drove it towards Goran's lower chest.

Goran blocked the attack with one of the blades attached to his feet, while slashing with the other at Locat's leg.

With the motion Goran makes, Locar turns horizontal and flexes, letting the mercury force agains the whip. Ignoring the minor leg wound he received from his efforts, he slipped from the whip, using the mercury tentacles as a vine, he brought himself over Goran and down with his foot, attempting to kick Goran down.

Goran still had his dials. Goran continued Locat's momentum and flew over him. At the same time, Goran shaped his whip into a scythe and pulled it upwards, slashing Locat from beneath.

Locat blocked with a manifested blade, one handed and released the mercury tendrils on the other, only to use the impact of the scythe to give himself time to recoalesce the tendrils into a giant fist, which he sent careening towards Goran.
The reverse of the force he put in the punch, plus gravity send him towards the ground as he pushed aside the scythe with a blade. He turned around in the air, turning his center of gravity with mercury and landed on his feet.

Goran took the punch with his foot, slightly reducing the impact by activating the breath dial on his feet. Goran was floating above Locat, shooting him with his machine guns, while merging his scythe into the blades on his feet, forming spiked shields to give protection against possible counterattacks.

Having landed stably, Locat had little trouble using his super speed abilities to dash away from the fire. He kept running, again disappearing in the rock formations.

Goran punched at the ground, forming an explosion around himself. Goran kept the stone in the air, forming it into various weapons, and attached most of them on his body. To be exact, he created two katanas, slightly curved elbow blades, foot-long blades on his knees and he also formed the spiked shields into small blades attached to his heels.

Locat fired pachinko bullets from behind one of the outcroppings before disappearing behind the rock again
