the promotion ceremony in marineford, no pirates allowed only marine characters (closed)

Nishki had not expected it to be like this, it had been a week since the incident on Salmanthia and the battle that took place there. The marine high ups found out about Martello's ability and had been quick to suggest promotion, after all he was one of the children of justice. Martellos ability was one that had shocked the marine hierachy, with such a powerful ability he could be on the rise and the fear of the seas pirates. Nishki had wanted to stop this from happening because there was so much Martello needed to do, Nishki drank the whiskey he had in his glass, he gulped it down feeling the cold sweet sensation, he was surprised to see all these people attend

Luis kreig took a sip of champagne, he drank it down quickly, he was pissed off when he found out about Martellos promotion, but he also was not envious of the position of rear admiral that Martello received, it meant more responsibility for him and Luis didnt like work, he looked around and saw something he liked, Captain Mary Young in a dress, Luis did up his hair properly and walked up to her in smooth fashion "Oh Captain Mary, you're more beautiful than usual tonight, would you like to come and dance with me?"

Mary simply sighed "Fine.., why not...." Nearly every marine grunt attending spit out their drink in comedical fashion " EHHHHHHHHH" Luis was shocked as well, something was wrong with the captain, she didnt seem so well, he took her by the hand and began waltzing with her "You dont seem happy tonight, is it my horrible dancing.....?" She let out a slight giggle "No, you dance well, its just... its Martello, im worried" Luis knew the bond Martello and Mary shared as brother and sister was deep, they had looked after each other since their parents died. "What happened? He didn't chicken out or anything did he?" Mary sighed "Its just that , ever since he got his new power he has been distant, he is going to a place where compassion and understanding don't even apply anymore, and it pains me....." Luis simply laughed "That guy isn't as complicated as that, its simply because he is an idiot, he only has a one track mind, don't worry, he is still under Nishki, he wont disobey him, just talk to him if you're feeling worried" Mary smiled and continued dancing with Luis

Dakumaru entered the ceremony Greeting and saluting everyone he came across as he looked for Nishki.

Nishki drank his third whiskey shot, he saw dakamaru and waved

Major Payne walked into the room where the ceremony was being held at. He held his head down and his hands in his pockets with his cape swaying back and forth as he moved. He took a quick glance around the entire room to see who all was attending. He yawned and scratched the back of his head to see there were no impressive looking nominees this year. He ignored the lower ranking marines who ran up to him and greeted him in a kiss up like fashion. He frowned a bit and fire began to appear around his torso. He calmed down and told them to buzz off. He then found a near by table and sat down in a large chair.

Ti'ar was sitting in the corner, holding his bag containing his chains and kama on his lap. His scythe was within close range of his grasp. He was watching all his fellow Marines, especially the grunts, drink until they were rowdy enough to be pirates. Idiots. One did not partake of these drinks if they desired to keep their self-respect. Ti'ar was one of these people, partially because alchoholic beverages did not suit his tastes. All Ti'ar really was here for was to quietly haul away any Marine that caused too much of a ruckus.

Vice - admiral Nishki walks up to walks up to Major Payne with a whiskey glass in hand
"Hello Payne, i see you made it, i had heard you were not going to come today, ahhahahaaahhaha, taking off from your busy schedule right?"
Nishki was looking around, he still didnt see Gosai or the fleet admiral yet.

As mervz entered the room, it became silent, everyone looking towards him ''my precense was required??, well here I am'' mervz stated with a grim look on his face, as he took a place somewhere at the table

Niiro: Oi Nishki-san !
Niiro pats Nishki's back, drinking sake from a large pot-looking object.
Kuro wonders if VA Garp or the others will be here too.

(Since thats a rp 5 years before Luffy's birth, we are in quite the tight era, so it does makes sense to refer to the canon chars doing something like hunting pirates, since thats the reasonable thing, its the Great Age of Pirates, right ?)

Nishki saw Niiro and waved, the grunts were all wondering why Nishki liked mingling with all the lower ranks, it wasnt normal. Nishki sat down and poured more whiskey into his glass waiting for the ceremony to end

Martello walked into the room with his new rear Admiral attire, he was feeling good, he was recognized by the brass and the WG. He finally felt like he was heading towards being the man his father once was. As Martello entered the room he was surprised to see most of the marine high order had attended

charles entered the room ''Am I late?'' he asked when he took a seat around the table,''so have I missed anything'' charles said with a sleepy voice

Martello laughed slightly when he heard Charles asked that question, "Charles san, you haven't missed a thing, they still haven't promoted me yet, i am glad you made it on time though, its been too long since the training camp, ahhahaahhaaahha"

"Chief" Vice Admiral Don is here !" a grunt calls.
Don: So when does the ceremony and the promotions begin ? We dont have all day.

Nishki was simply laughing, "Youre always impatient Don senpai, you need to chill every once in a while right? here (hands him whiskey glass) have a seat nd have a drink"

Martello saw Vice Admiral Don enter and went forth to greet him "Its an honor to have you here Vice Admiral Don sir, i never thought you would come to my promotion ceremony"

Don drinks. "Not in our days, not in your days"
He then greets Martello "I never though you would be in this position so soon either youngster, but seems we were both wrong"
Niiro: Work hard Martello, and you will become Vice Admiral soon enough !

Dakumaru Walks up to Martello " Congratulation on the Promotion Marello" Dakumaru Salutes Martello

Martello grins at Dakamaru and salutes bak, "Thank you my friend, with my powers we will defeat all our enemies out there"

"Enough talk let us proceed with our ceremony" The fleet admiral walks in and everyone stands up and salutes

"Today we are gathered here to remind ourselves that justice is still neccessary to properly run this ocean, the wrong doers and the people of evil have always stood in our way, pirates and so on showing no mrecy to the poor innocent by standers who are desperately clinging on to live a normal life during these times..., our motto has always been FOR THE SAKE OF JUSTICE!!!!, we have lived or lives through this creed and have tried to urge the people of the world to live the same way"

Fleet Admiral motions towards Martello "Today we see a boy who lives his life by this creed, a boy who has fought for justice since the day he was born, Martello Young, your father would have been proud of you if he was to see you here today, You are the future of the marines and a boy, no , a man who willbe instrumental in the future, with that being said, i bestow upon you the rank of Rear Admiral,, you must always preserve jutice no matter where, is that understood?!"

Martello salutes "SIR YES SIR!!!"
The swearing in and the honorary badges were pinned onto his new Rear Admiral coat, and the ceremony had ended, the fleet admiral had left with the higher ups almost immdeiately , no time to rest in this age. Nishki went over to Martello, "Well done Mart, you did well, but you cant let this go to your head yet, you have more responsibility now..."

Martello grinned "Dont worry Vice Admiral Nishki, i wont fail you, i am still under you after all" Martello salutes

Don thinks to himself that, this youngster has potential, but also a thirst for power, and he hopes his potential prevails.

A grunt reports to Fleet Admiral "We have news regarding the Salamthia incident. Vice Admiral Gosai's Battleship encountered the "Spiral Spider pirates" (just a crew I made up lol), we currently do not know the outcome of this meeting".

The fleet admiral starts walking towards the door "You go and bring that fool Gosai back here Don, that fool just wont let things go, justice must be preserved even if that means letting enemies go"

Martello walked out full of happiness, until he sees Luis Krieg kissing Mary Young (Martellos sister)

Don: I hate using my Devil Fruit ... but, understood Sir.
He walks out, and vanishes.
Niiro: Nikyu Nikyu No Mi ... quite the traveler.

Dakumaru Drinks alone in a corner with a distance look in his eyes as he gulp's down another drink.

Xavier silenty enter the the ceromony. He had been briefed of todays affairs by the Cipher Pol Chief. He thinks carefully about his new assingment. It had been years since he had seen Nishki. But his relationship was shaking his resolve. Xavier passes by the marines not drawing attention to himself. He sits at a table that would get him noticed Nishki quickly.

Nishki saw Xavier and gleamed with joy "You have got to be kidding me, XAVIER?????" Nishki aimed one good punch at Xavier on the table, the marine grunts looking shocked

Xaviers face beams with joy even though he is not suprised to see Nishki. Although he was truely happy to see him. Xavier quickly turns portion that would recieve the hit to diamond. Xavier grins. "Still as strong as ever. The marines are keeping you in shape Brother." He gets and opens his arms to embrace the Vice Admiral.

(Im getting him approved for the diamond instead of the one he had. But you dont know that he is now a fruits user.)
