''uhm my body is full of them, the man who t-took me in knocked me out, threw oil on me, and set me ablaze'' emily answered with a sad look on her face.

Taco noticed the wind piccking up, and came back down to the ship.

"Hm..." Ranyx said, his calm face hiding his inner feelings on the matter. "Was he ever punished?"

((I can endevuor to try to get someone else attack Skypeia... maybe even make the antagonist myself...))

''D-do you wanna k-know why he d-did that t-to me?'' emily asked almost crying

"Yes, please..." Ranyx said, attempting to console her.

''my dad had 2 sons who were 3 and 4 y-years older then me, t-they were a-always b-bullying me, t-this time, hitting me alround with baseball bats, using me as baseball, when they broke my left arm I couldn't controll myself and knocked one out, with a vase, then they told their dad, after he broke all my bones he lit me up in fire'' emily said starting crying, thinking back of all bad things wich happend before.

"Hm..." Ranyx said, deeply troubled. A pure, distilled overreaction. That's what this was. It was terrible. "Well," Ranyx began, preparing to tell her of a previous experience. "I was working as a doctor on a large island once. Someone came in and informed me about a domestic violence case. I went to see what the problem was, and fix up the injured. When I got there, I found a terrible sight. It turned out that the husband had bludgeoned his wife and son half to death, since the son was joking around about being mean to an old friend of the father. The wife tried to defend the son, but..." Ranyx shook his head. "He beat her too. I was able to save them both, but the father... wasn't so lucky. I purposely broke his arm and left it to heal improperly so that he couldn't do it again." Ranyx sat back. "I can't help about your past. I wish it hadn't have happened, but at this point, its unchangable. Do they still hurt you?"

Emily was quite shocked after hearing ranyx story,''yes they do, especially when I touch them or lay on them, my old doctor told me to use a salf, I still use n-nowadays, but it doesn't really help anymore, guess I have to live w-with it, I am happy I am with cid now, he doesn't hit or hurt me''

((Okay, there's going to be a bit of a lil' character reference, because in my little imaginary world, Ranyx and Gael have met))

"Hm. Well..." Ranyx said, attempting to remember the ingredients to a really powerful salve... "I know just the thing!" Ranyx exclaimed, jubilantly. He grabbed his back, and after searching through it, he took out two things: a toddler's onesie, and a small packet of herbs in a coarse linen pouch. "I got this little poultice from a Devil Fruit user I met, and it has extraordinary pain-numbing capabilities. Simply soak it in any water, and apply it to any pained area. It's reusable, too, if you leave it out in the sun and dry for a little while." Ranyx quickly explained all this and handed the little pouch to Emily. Then he held up the onesie and smiled. "Be right back," he said, going into a vacant room and closing the door. Once inside, he transformed into his six year old shape and laughed delightedly.

Ranyx jumped up so he could reach the door and close it. After changing into his onesie, he jumped to open up the door up. He gathered up the clothes and walked back into his room. In his onesie, in a younger voice, he said, "Try it out, Emily!"

Emily was scared thinking to herself *who is that kid, where is ranyx and how does he know my name*''W-w-who are you?, w-where is Ranyx ?'' Emily asked fightend walking back to the door

"Silly, it's me!" Ranyx said, happily. "People are usually confused when I do this. I just like to wear my onesies from time to time. They're very comfortable. Seriously, try out the poultice." He went back into his bag and pulled out a water bottle. He found a basin squirreled away under the bed. After pouring some water into the basin, he got on his tiptoes and set it on the bed.

((What are onesies??? ?.?))

((You know those little one-piece fuzzy things you see as pajamas for little kids? Those are onesies. Ranyx occaisionally has the mindset of a child.))

''but how, you're a kid now''emily said shocked''t-thank you, and you've got nice onesies'' Emily smiled and accepted the bottle of water and dipped it in the poultice, after taking her shirt of she put it on one of the wounds,''ouch!'' Emily screemed,

"It's my Devil Fruit. I can change my age at will," Ranyx said happily, then when Emily screamed, he frowned. "That's not supposed to happen. Those herbs create one of the most powerful painkillers in the world."

((Yeah, they can nullify all pain, pretty much))

''w-well its f-feeling better now, t-thank you, well I am going b-back to my room, w-we should arive soon I guess'' emily said, putting her shirt back as she headed back for her room, ''I will deivantly use this later, when I've g-got a b-bit more time but t-thank you''

==LATER THAT DAY==
Taco stood up, yawning and streching out his arms. The ship had just arrived at skypeai, and it was time to go explore the town. He placed the vision dial into his bag, and securred some dials up his sleeves, for emergences. He walked out to the hall

Ranyx stretched, still in his younger form. He walked out into the hall and bumped into the man from before: Taco. He fell over, laughing. "Haha, you seem so much bigger now, Taco!" he said with delight, poking Taco's leg.

"Um..." Taco started, confused "Do I know you? You look like someone I've met, but..... Hey, are you relayed to Ranyx?"
