| Soren began to bite his bottom lip, a cool breeze swept past his blond hair. Standing in the middle of a clearing seated near a small town he had turned this ground into a field of bodies. The stench of blood was thick on his clothes, yet he was well within his jurisdiction to eradicate this 'scum' however he saw fit. Moving his palm o his mouth he began to chew on that instead, his teeth almost yearning for the blood lust. "Pathetic..." He spoke to no one, as the wind blew again swaying his priestly garb stained red from blood. "Never stood a chance." He turned around facing the town, placing one food on the hilt of a blade that had been stuck in the ground during the frenzy. Slowly he saw one pirate struggle to stand.
"Y-you...monster..." The man was propping himself up on a spear. "I won't die...not here...I have a promise to someone I love!" Soren simply raised his eyebrow as with the last of his energy the man thrust his spear toward Soren. He simply held his hand up and before the blade even touched him it disappeared, being crushed into oblivion. "Y-you bastard! You had n-n...no right to attack us!"
Soren smiled and began, "you and your friends, they are all trash. Did you think I would allow you to get to the grand line? To fulfill your promises? How pathetic. Do you know you stand before a god?" Soren placed his hand on the mans forehead. "Oh sinner...I shall save you." In an instant a blood curdling scream erupted from the mans mouth as all of his blood suddenly burst from his pores. The limb carcass of the once valiant man hit the ground, Soren still with his foot propped on the blade was covered in a fresh coat of blood. "Heathens...the lot of em'. My work here is unfinished, such unclean people." Soren took his foot off the blade and began to walk again when suddenly...

| Gael had been sent by his captain into the town to buy some supplies, and have some fun before hand. With childish glee Gael had gone all through out the town, selling fresh-grown fruit to the townsfolk. He was throughly enjoying himself, his wallet almost full with money. Only problem he saw was that the further he went through the town, people seemed to become hysterical.
And then he had seen the massacre. Piles of bodies, coated in blood, were piled out side the town, with only one man still standing, blood soaked. Gael had heard about some pirates that had supposedly come to the town earlier, and he assumed these carcasses were those pirates. Gael called out to the man, as loud as he could, "What happened here?" He had roots coming out of his lower half, digging in in case of a fight. If they fought for whatever reason, Gael would need all the water he could get. After he ill-fated battle with that man -- Sano -- Gael carried three water bottles with him, but he didn't want to use one in case there wasn't an emergency.

| Soren's head tilted to the side looking at the odd man, his priestly coat swaying in the wind. Blue eyes piercing down at Gael. "What happened here? This area is now purified of all filth. Clean, beautiful, godlike." Soren slowly walked over to the new man, "where does your heart lie? Do you need to be free? Are you fighting for something?" A sadistic smiled wiped across Soren's lips. "I don't care if you're a pirate, a marine or a bounty hunter. Answer my question..." The air around Soren began to feel dense as if being pressed together, it was evident by the cracks forming as he slowly made his way to Gael. His face a blank calm expression aside from the smile, his eyes were cloudy and deep blue. | |

| Gael nervously started messing with his silver hair. He retracted the roots into his feet, sensing the man's overpowering aura. This would surely lead to conflict. "I'm not fighting for anything, persay. I'm just trying to learn. That's about it." The man was seriously scaring the daylights out of Gael. | |

| "Learn? How fruitless! You wish to learn and that is all?" Soren began to cackle and the ground cracked beneath his feet then just as fast as the aura of power came it vanished. "Learning is for the weak. Pray to your gods." Soren knelt down on one knee and put his hand on the earth. "If you wish to learn who your gods are, you need only look in my eyes..." He smiled more now, looking up at Gael. | |

| "I have no gods. And learning is all," Gael said, readying himself. He was sure the man was up to something. | |

| "Well then you godless wretch." Soren was about twenty feet away from Gael at this point, he stood up from his knee and held his hand out in the air palm facing Gael. "Why don't I show you what a god truly looks like!" His jacket sweeping with the wind. "Decompress." The air in front of him rapidly expanded causing a conical shaped explosion of raw energy to emit from in front of him, though it wasn't fatal this small anyone caught in the blast wouldn't be too happy... | |

| "Tree Sheild!" Gael yelled, causing a thick, fat tree to grow out of the ground and absorb the impact of the blast. "Bamboo!" Gael said, causing a small clutch of bamboo to shoot at Soren, pointy at the top. | |

| As the pointed bamboo rushed through the air Soren placed his hands near each other. "Crush..." A black orb appeared between his palms sucking in everything in front of him with a violent wind including the bamboo and crushing them into nothingness. "What can plants do against the power of infinity? The power of a god?" Soren grinned again as the orb faded. " Swiftly Soren moved his hands through the air, sending great blue glowing shears of vacuum toward Gael. "Better watch out! Once false move and you will turn into a blood fountain like these other curs!" | |

| "That's if I make a false move," Gael replied, using his generic vines to wrap around him a speed him to safety. His hands are the focal point of his power. If I can keep away from his hands, then I can... Gael used his ability to force vines to sprout behind Soren, reaching for his wrists. | |

| By causing gravity on himself to act as though it was zero, Soren leaped a great distance into the air. It was almost as though he was flying. Suddenly he yelled down, "You figured out my technique fairly quickly, as most people do. However there is another reason why I am the Shichibukai bathed in blood." From his vantage point high above Gael, Soren began to rain down on the battle vacuum blades. Glowing blue with a distinct slicing sound as they effortlessly cut down over Gaels position. "Let's see how fast you are!" | |

| Gael looked up in shock. The vines wrapped around Gael dragged him down into the earth, and pulled him away from Soren's attack. He popped back out of the ground. He sent vines curling up in a double helix up near Soren. All along the vines grew Immobilizing plants, which spewed out their gases. | |

| "You're pretty slippery, if you love the earth so much then I will merely bury you." Soren held his palms close together again, forming the black sphere between his palms that sucked up anything at all. "Feel the weight of gods judgment!" The sphere began to grow rapidly, Soren held it above his head while still in mid air and threw it down at the battlefield. "Hahahaha! Be crushed into oblivion! You are going to have to burrow pretty deep!" Soren's smile grew ever larger, while this attack was formidable if Gael was able to go down deep enough into the earth he could avoid being crushed... | |

| All of the gases of the Immobilizers were sucked into the sphere, completely ineffectual to Soren. Gael wrapped himself in many, many vines, creating one vine extension of himself that would serve as a air gatherer. Gael was sucked down, down, down into the earth, going as far down as he dared. He sent the extension up to the surface, far away from where they were fighting. He almost died of asphyxiation by the time the vine reached the surface. Able to breathe now, Gael planned to avoid the attack. When he thought it was safe, he returned to the surface.
"Well, then, 'God', I'm going to have to take you down a peg, if I can," Gael replied, sending vines up from all over the battlefield to try to wrap around Soren and imprison him.

| "Take me down a peg? Don't make me laugh" By creating a difference of gravity between one direction of his body and the opposite side Soren was able to move at a speed only matched by light. He stood a ways behind Gael, completely out of the scope of his attack. "Take me down? I am the destroyer of worlds. You couldn't take me anywhere..." Soren places both of his palms on the ground, suddenly the air began to crack and a large chunk of earth under Gael rose up as Soren lifted. The massive mound was like a meteor nonchalantly being held by Soren in one hand. "Compress." The large chunk of earth was pressed by an immense pressure to the size of a marble, while it's weight and mass were the same. Soren then calmly flicked the marble at Gael at an immense speed, then suddenly when it was about halfway in front of Gael it expanded again to it's former size. A truly formidable attack. "See? Even the Earth quivers to my power." | |

| "Oh my..." Gael screamed, the vines attempting to save him. They got pretty close. The boulder hit Gael's left arm as he tried to leave its range, bruising it and breaking several of the bones in his arm and fracturing most of Gael's hand. "Son of a..." He gripped his arm, several of the breaks actually breaking the skin. Gael need to do SOMETHING.
His something was a feeble attempt. He made a set of five Parasites, putting one in the tip of four vines, the pointy side out. The other he held in his non-injured hand. He sent the four vines at Soren, one at each cardinal direction. Then he encased all but his right arm in vines, and buried under the ground. He planned to sneak attack Soren with the last Parasite, if the others failed.

| Soren let out a small breath from his lip, his fingers shaking and quivering. "For a new pirate your skills are pretty good, and for that..." Suddenly he vanished from his current position, now above Gael with his leg high in the air rearing down for an ax kick. Soren was not the type you'd like to encounter in close range as he could easily crush your internal organs by touching you. Anything that would strike his foot would instantly be crushed under the infinite gravity that he possessed. "I will let you live!" Suddenly his assault stopped and in mid air he propelled himself a way backwards from Gael, injured as he was. "You may be a plant god. Maybe I should let you see the grand line." Soren gave a wicked smile. | |

| Gael was breathing raspily. He was nearly drained, completely and utterly. The only thing keeping him alive was the water he drained from his failed attack. Roots flooded from all of Gael's pores, firmly rooting themselves in the ground, absorbing any and all moisture they touched. For anyone else, the roots formed a shield inpenetrable. However, it seemed Soren would be able to destroy it easily. Gael couldn't move himself, but he could do something.
Gael vibrated the roots so that he could speak. "Do as you will. Regardless of your decision, I think I'll be living, thank you very much." He didn't sound brave, but then again, he wasn't trying to.

| The man with a gun, Brand Kadock, arrived about forty feet away from the scene. Why? For money of course. Killing his business and business was good. It was no shock that he would get far into a scruffle when a bunch of dead bodies were lying about. The amount of slaughter would've made quite a bounty and could even get him a good rep. He saw two men fighting, and of course one of them was a pirate. Everyone in the ocean was a pirate or a navyman and navymen don't fight eachother.
Brand wasn't a fool. He noticed the intense struggle and thought how easy it would be to bag a kill from afar. Who to kill? The priest or the kid. The question was a vexing one, and the only answer would be random selection. At the flip of a coin he decided it would be the kid. Shooting a priest could get him a punishment from the man upstairs and that was out of the question. Pulling his elephant gun up to the shoulder for a shot he cautiously maneuvered the barrel towards his body. The kind of force this gun was firing made a headshot greedy and the kickback could ruin the shot. So he instead aimed for his stomach and once it was prepared he slowly eased the trigger. The bullet violently sprinted towards his target with a loud bang. |

| Soren's perceptive skills were what you can call inhuman after all he was a Shichibukai, it was only natural that his skill in all forms of combat was excellent. His senses so acute, mind so calculating that almost nothing got past him. As he heard the click of the firing pin he quickly held his palms up, creating a black orb between his palms that sucked the bullet in quickly crushing it into nothing. Soren's eyes shifted to the man who fired at him. "Coward..." Soren spoke as he was suddenly a few feet behind the man, cracking the fingers on his right hand he slowly took a step forward. "Don't think your big toy gun will kill me just because it can kill birds, you will never tear off my wings." Soren's priestly coat violently moved as he began to condense the air around his palm with a tremendous force of gravity. Quickly it exploded from his palm in the direction facing the thus unnamed gun man. | |

| "Toy gun?" As the wild machete morphed into a tiger under him it leaped to the left. Launching more then seven feet away. "Kill a bird?" The hunter pulled out his howdah pistol in his left hand (his right hand holding the elephant gun) and aimed at his enemy. The speed and force would be quite alot and would require quite the reaction time to dodge. He laughed a little while firing with an abrupt shot as soon as the bullet fired. "These babies have too much the kick for hunting a bird. You probably couldn't even salvage the wings or the feet... heh" His laughter started again, but was dwarfed by the sound of his tiger's roar. |
