Crew Goals: earn a large fortune capturing pirates in the grand line.
Crew History: Brand started Apex Predator as a one man crew killing other pirates for their spoils. This went well, picking off the weak and the young until he attacked a navy vessel. He was going to be tried as a pirate (which would result in his immediate hanging) when he was offered a deal. He would be pardoned of his pirate acts if he signed a contract. The rules where that he would never strike against the world government again with the clause that he would be a bounty hunter. Deciding it would be an easier feat with a crew he started one.
Due to the number of executions, the navy provided him with a sloop of his naming and a crew to hunt pirates with. That was in the days when he and Apex Predator where on the right side of the navy. However as time went on he fell out of favor, due to assaulting villages and a high number of mortalities. Eventually he was marked as neither enemy nor allie; one who would not attack you if you did not attack him. His funds allowed him the prospect of hiring a second hand, which was his first adventure.
