Yeah, each Akatsuki member is insanely overpowered... several of them were only beaten because of a team effort, and one only died because he was sick.

hmm yeah... still hes not dead so if someone else were to come along..... sorry its just that hidan is so neat, everyone else has to spam an element, other form, kekegenki or summons but he gets things done with just a sythe and one jutsu

And that one jutsu makes him completely immune to pain and makes him unable to die.

No... if he's like Hidan I'd have my character trap him with vines then try to purify whatever host of demons entered him.

actualy Rasher has power over metal, but hes a bit insain

he's immortal...so he won't die...

they really sould, even if pein just sends one of his bodies to go do it, like the one who summons animals, he could say... summon some moles to dig him out and then the akatsuki wouldent be down so many members!

Yes but why would they want to have a head in their team. Cruel tho it may sound, the work isn't worth getting a useless member.

Well, not really anime but if we're talking about villain organizations I'd have to say I love Organization XIII from Kingdom Hearts. They each have unique abilities for that game.
Well I guess to make a good series you need a mysterious third faction that has unique abilities.
