Serious: The Peace Brigade Gets a New Member!

Mike nodded. "Alright then. You're in." he looked over to where the crowd was, now being only a few dedicated souls. "I think we have only a short time before we're done here, then I'll introduce you to our ship."

[I think cookiemonster's character in this crew he retired, but I'm not sure about iggy's character]

"Okay," Gael said, "I have a small ship of my own, what should I do with that?" He motioned for Mike to follow him toward the docks, since he didn't know when a Marine was going to come and free Ti'ar. He did not want to be around for that.

((Shall I PM them telling them I'm in their crew?))

Mike sighed and followed along. "Well, it depends on its size. If it's the size of a lifeboat we'll keep it."

((DEAR GOD! IT BETTER WORK! I gave up with doing something fancy for the time being.))

Gael replied, "Don't worry, if you need a lifeboat, it'll do the job. We better hurry, though. Ti'ar is getting freed by a Marine, and I don't want him following us." He turned and sprinted down the road, turning here and there to keep some distance between them and any potential pursuers.

Ti'ar waited impatiently while a Marine carefully hackes away the vines. Once freed, he turned to begin running after the pirate captain and his new crewmate, but his superior yelled, "Ti'ar, over here! The bowman has been captured, and a trial has been started. Stand guard by the main exit!" Ti'ar growled and went to stand by the hall.

Making it to the docks, Mike scanned the area. "No...no...here it is!" he said, pointing to a boat about the size of a large yaght. "Here it is--the superdooperwhooper."

((How could Lipton jump into this...))

((Sorry, obsessiveness here, but its yacht. I'm so sorry, it's a little *twitch* problem of mine. And maybe you could have him come out of the ship and ask Mikey how it went?))

Gael nodded, "Okay, this is mine." He waved a little farther down the dock at a small ship, a little life-boat that would fit about eight people without being too crowded. Well, crowded for a life-boat. "What do you need me to do with it?" Gael asked, "And who else is in the crew? I hope not too many Devil Fruit users. I do have a construct that could save a Devil Fruit user, but it would only fit like three people. Normal sized people." He glanced worriedly back, afraid Ti'ar would follow them.

Ti'ar was waiting dutifully outside the courtroom when a Marine came out and said, "Ti'ar, they need you inside." Ti'ar pushed the double doors open and went to stand near the judge. The judge proclaimed, "This man has been condemned for attacking a government building, and has been sentenced to a jail time of ten years. Ti'ar, arrest him, bring him to the prison, and free the other protestors. They aren't in any trouble." Ti'ar nodded and approached the sentenced, but then stopped. While he was chaining the sentenced, he spoke up and said, "Sir, there were several pirates in the crowd. Do I have permission to question the protestors or chase after the pirates?" The judge shook his head, "No, don't chase the pirates. But do question the protestors, just don't hurt them. Use scare tactics. If you learn anything about the pirates, then we may agree." Ti'ar grunted approval and half dragged the sentenced to the prison. He began questioning the protestors after the sentenced was in his cell.

Mike nodded. "Just put it on ship I guess. We'll hopefully find a place for it." Mike looked over at his own ship. "Yo! Lipton! Did anyone come to the ship?"

[I hope that can help you jump in, iggeh]

Lipton lay sleeping on the floor of the supply room, dreaming all sorts of glorious dreams, when he heard Mikey calling. He got up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes, "...Did who get on the ship now?" he said to himself, "Aw sh*t..." he muttered, remebering that he was on watch duty. He shot up and made sure nothing was stolen before replying, "Nope, Nobody's gettin past me, Mikey!" Lipton laughed nervously, and walked out to join him.

Mike knew how to keep his cool, but a little too well. "Put the ship down before anyone gets hurt or any damage is done to public property."

Lipton heard a different voice, "Huh? Oh uh, yeah! Who may I ask are y- OH MY GOD!!" Lipton shouted, looking over the deck to realise he was in the air. "Christ! Please don't drop me! Mike Who the hell is this!?" he asked franticly.

Mike waved his hand reassuringly, though how to reassure someone suspended 20 feet or higher in the air among lots of wood is simply beyond me. "He wants to join us, I think his name was Gael."

Lipton was always a bit cowerdly, so this was no fun for him. "Well that's all well and good, but if he's joining this can't be a regular thing!" Lipton got to the ground and curled into a ball.

Mike leaned over and rubbed lipton's back. "Dude, chill. I'll make sure this doesn't happen anymore, 'kay?" he said, being as friendly as he could.

((The ship I was lifting was the boat I had used, but oh well.))

"Holy crap, sorry!" Gael spluttered, lowering the ship and its frightened passenger back down. "I didn't mean to do that. Don't worry, I won't do it again."

Mike nodded. "Yeah, you really will have to not do that...Well, Welcome aboard!" he said with a smile.

Mike picked an apple off of the tree. "Well....this will turn out well." he said before taking a bite.

Mike nodded slowly. "Can you cook meat?" he asked. "Not create it, but cook it? Like could you grill a sausage?" he really wanted to know, because men don't live on veggies alone!

[well....the reason for the whole meat thing is probably because it might be a way my older brother would react. I almost based this character off of him, almost entirely on appearance, including the aviators]

"That's all I needed to know. Alright--shall we sail?" Mike asked the two, of course ready to leave.

[I'm gonna wait for the igg-man]

"I'm ready," Gael responded cheerfully. Gael leaned on the side of the boat, with his right arm dangling over the side. He dropped a root out of his right pinky and it entered the water. The root began seperating the salt from the water. It sucked the distilled water up through the root and into Gael's body, giving him a source of water if the need arose.

"Ready as I'll ever be sir." Lipton responds, walking over to see what his new commrade was up to. "I'm not sure we could call our meeting a proper one, so allow me to introduce myself. The name's Lipton Darson, and-" Lipton paused, having noticed the stringy thing hanging from Gael's finger. "Are you fishing there, or what?"
