Although not named katanas, the pair of blades share equal quality. A pair of blades forged to be identical to one another they were forged specifically for a pair of friends, swordsmen, and rivals.The rapiers were made with beautifully adorned blades and hand guards. The waving threads of metal that make up the hand guards are weathered copper green in color along the outer edge. At the base of the blade, the words “Equal Pair” are engraved with gold filling. The scabbards share the engraved text and have an outer case made of beautiful, green, weathered copper with gold trimming.
