my first project (GAME)

hi all,

Today I got my first project for school, I have to make a side scrolling shooter (like r type) I can make everything how i want it, so if you like it I can put up some screens and stuff and art of characters, I plan to make it a fantasy style game, and if you have a super idea you can post it and maybe I can do something with it and ofcourse I will post the game when its done (it wont be soon though) I have got this whole school year to work on it , but it has to become a big game so I need much ideas for creatures and bosses I am thinking to use a man with bow on a bird instead of a space ships but if you have any orther ideas for an avatar post them maybe i will use them

Sounds awesome! I have ideas for enemies, but I don't know if they would work with what you're going for. Could you explain the plot, if it's serious or silly, and if it's sprite based, polygon based, hand drawn, or otherwise?

well I am first making sketches then making the models in photoshop well side scrolling shooters dont have too big and deep plots, I am still thinking bout one

I'm working on a game, but for fun related reasons, it's Gonna be called ZeldrinsJourneys

I will give you some of the crazy people inside my head redmerv. Now who do you want? The man who has a huge hammer and can partially control time or the guardian that speaks a strange language and has a spear and knows some magic? I have a lot more of these types of guys. How about a guy that carrys bombs that makes fire when it explodes? And controls big flaming bugs?

well I think I am at 1/4th now done al thinking;)(most of it) and I am gonna start on the artwork and stuff;) (flying monsters, and swimming monsters, the avatar and flying fish th weapon and stuff, Migh post an update when I got some artwork done;)

If you like I can include your artwork or ideas in the game, I just need flying and swimming monsters lol
