Language limiters are up for discussion

Should this sites administration change its rules regarding swearing and violent/sexual details and if so under what parameters? Your input is necessary, currently we are a G/E rated website in how much detail go in to violently or sexually as well as your language/conduct on this website. Post your views here

I think we are currently at PG-13. I think we could go up to R, but no further than that. Nothing like NC-17 or X.

well on one side of the coin we are all around the same age here and should be able to use language if we want to especially since they are not magical or offensive words to begin with.

on the other hand the swearing is one of few things holding back the rating and making it acceptable to a wider range of people.

Make sure to check the service provider's rules before changing our own.

well Forum motion alows its users to set their own limiters, in face one of the catigorys of websits they alow users to make is of an "adult" catigory but its really a question of what we want to do.... perhaps a poll?

I always say in my forum's rules "Censor Curse Words" when they write their own posts.
If we put a limit on this stuff, this iste would get dumbed down.
