My thoughts on each new game.
New Super Mario Bros. WII: HOLY SH*T! 4 player AND PLAYABLE TOAD!
Super Mario Galaxy 2: Although this looks fun, I think Nintendo, just as the rest of us, has come to the realization that Mario has nowhere left to go. The solution? Keep in space! I just hope they work on things like story, and maybe a DIFFERENT villain for a change (I still love you Bowser!). All in all, I don't think we should jump to any conclusions about this one.
Metroid Other M: It looks fun, but I couldn't understand a thing that was going on story wise from this trailer. Oh look! Ridley!

well I guess this was inevitable:
Super mario Wii: out of ideas? looking to make a quick billion? well just strap on some new features and enemies on to an old game and polish the heck out of it! it worked with G'n'G why the not? well I would not normally be mad about that accept for the fact that that is all you guys seem to know how to do! the platformer is the missing link between causal gameing and normal stuff and now that it has bells and whistles its tailor made to impress everyone like some sort of festive hat that your grandparents ware on holidays where as I guess returning to the basics is Nintendo's big goal in life but this is so very overstated its like the nostalgia was placed before the gameplay (yeah thats right the one thing nintendo loves)
Super mario Galaxy 2: like Zero Punctuation said now that hes been in space where does mario have to go from here? well apparently the answer is in space on the back of yoshi....... well perhaps this one will have another character with a back story which I was socked to learn that the last game had but oh wait, is that HEARTLESS Mario? Bravo nintendo you have fused with Kingdom hearts its like they KNOW I hate them! Well I guess just being in space again was all Mario could do from being in space before but its sadly anticlimactic like the last few arks of Dragon Ball Z but instead of veiny screaming we get a guy in red flying around on the back of a dinosaur on "planets" made of wooden planks
Metriod what ever sequel: Im actualy impressed just a tad, the characters talk, the graphics are noticeably better it actualy has recurring characters with more depth than princess peach and it brought back the metriod platforming we all love so much, but since complementing nintendo makes me break out in hives and vomit seawater from my armpits lets get to bashing it! the game style is Turing to be everything at once, a 3d platformer one minute and a first person shooter the next and we all know how well that worked for contra, the fatality style moves give the nintendo gamer a rare glimpse at that elusive thing we call epic kill but now metriod is also trying to be god of war so that adds a thrid play style (follow behind) and unless there going to let you pick the shift is going to break flow like no ones business! All and all Ive never really understood what metroid wanted to be I mean the first few games had a space themed pitfall feel mixed in with platforming and the occasional boss fight but then the next gen made it in to a space themed doom style game and now it wants to be everything
however Sony (or the rebel army as I like to call them) is on its last leg, I accept this now the only intresting game Ive seen is the upcoming "Infamous" series that combines post nuclear blast apocalyptic society with the superheros that comics said they would make adding depth to the otherwise childlike fun factor and combining two of my favorite things, superheroes and civilisation being destroyed

Yeah...No console wars here. If you're willing to start one right here and now asll I have to say is F*ck You. You all know my stand is all. I enjoy the Wii when I have my cousin over or something though most of the time he brings his Xbox. PS2 I really love. PSP has great games. I love it or at least respect it. You all should too. B*tch got owned!

The Rebel army? That's a bit of a stretch. Rebelling against what? (Dare I ask) And I don't think Key was flaming anyone, he was preaching love and respect amongst all consoles and companies! And for that, I salute you.

thats it? well for some reason I felt like my reviews were a bit more intresting.... but to answer your question Sony is the poorer, wilder faction which manages to stay afloat despite having less resorces and an all around lack of advantages, the other side has everyone more or less eating out of the palm of their hand as they work for freedom from their otherwise opressive advisaryies who keep lesser companies on exteremly short leashes crushing them if they even THINK of producing their games somehwere else while the masses are apeased by another fat mustached propaganda film...... but now Im being sinical and I dont want nintendoids to show up and rip my arms off

Although that statement was based on the views of madman, I choose to ignore it, lest we start yet another war. All the companies are good. All are flawed. All have advantages and otherwise. A video game war is like a religion war, it's utterly stupid that people would fight over whose console (God) is right. You of all people should know that, Admin-sama, seeing as you worship all Gods equally.

Consoles are gods now? Is your shiney mustached idol really that wonderful Iggy? REALLY? I have no interest in preaching open mindedness when my opinions are so clearly skewed in one direction this "madman" finds that to be hypocritical
you take this so seriously but honestly I havent played a console game on my own in years I play sonic via Roms and will occasionally bust out my PSP but really gameing matters less and less nowadays, the only real fun I have with the things are either condemning or supporting one side of a bigger argument based off of them, there's a reason that it keeps up through out the internet and that's because people will always choose one product over its competitors and feel obligated to defend their choice and that's the only GOOD thing in capitalism so you could say that these arguments are the only patriotic thing I really do because in communism they wouldn't happen and in socialism they would happen less often
more to the point you have been acting very noble about all this, Im the "ranting fanboy" while you act as some sort of enlightened gaming buddha but in reality you are just as biased as I am on the mater

Difficult to hear about new games? Maybe. I honestly have never heard of that company either, but Marvel vs Capcom was fun, so yeah.
