History:
Shad had one younger brother and a younger sister. His brother was born when Shad was three years old, and his sister was born two more years later. His father didn't really like him because as a jailer, he wanted his children to be jailers, while Shad wanted to be a tailor, like his mother. Soon, his father gave up on the rebellious child and gave the attention that he would have gotten to his brother Jamil.That made him a little jealous sometimes. Why did his father shower Jamil with attention, when he, Shad, was the older one? Just because of their wishes differing? He even took Jamil to work with him, damn it!
Still, even though he learned to hate his father he couldn't help but like his little brother.
One day a prisoner who had escaped from jail burned their house as revenge for his time in jail. His family had already gotten out of the house when he heard his sister screaming. Next thing he knew, Jamil was storming into the house. He ran after him, and followed the screams. The smoke was burning in his lungs and in his eyes.
After a while, he found his brother, passed out under a piece of the roof falling down on him. The flames were already about to consume the little boy. With all his might, he pushed the tile down from his little brother. Not thinking about the flames on Jamils clothes, he picked him up and ran. He still had some hope to find his sister as he kicked open the door to her room, but he was greeted by an explosive flame. In a protective reflex, he covered his brothers body and turned, but not enough to protect himself from all the flames. He felt the heat on his whole right shoulder as he stormed out of the house. But he knew that whatever pain he was feeling, Jamil was feeling a lot more of it. A look on his brother and the screams in the background told him he was right about that. Then he passed out.
Shad woke up a week later, in a clean, white hospital room and found his hands and shoulder had been damaged. He stood up without permission, walked along the hall, picked the first best nurse up by the collar of her shirt and asked her nicely (meaning:“Where the hell did you f*ckers put my brother?“) about the whereabouts of his brother.
She told him, and after paying a short visit to him and telling him goodbye (which he couldn't hear, of course, being comatous and all), he vanished from the hospital.
After that, he did what he had always wanted to do: Become a tailor apprentice.
When his work at the tailors shop was done, he'd go around causing trouble to anyone, anywhere he went. Maybe it was some sort of rebellion against his father, maybe he was just bored.
His brother, meanwhile, became a torturer at the royal palace- not that he cared. The two never got to see each other again after that incident at the hospital.
Some time passed, and then the rebellion lead by prince Anubis started. Not much thinking was included on his part, he simply decided to join the rebels. It was just because he was bored, but it became... a habit, of sorts.
The rebellion was scattered, and he continued his work while keeping the rebellious feelings in his heart and the thoughts in his brain.
Soon, he became a real tailor, having finished his apprenticeship, but he remained a troublemaker.
One day, a rare guest visited his shop- a world government agent. He had heard about him and luckily remembered a new suit would be nice. People tend to talk to things like waiters, drivers, hairdressers... and tailors. Talk about things they normally wouldn't have talked about. Like, say, their mission, or what they were carrying with them. In this case, a devilfruit. What a guy could do with a devilfruit... What fun one could have... Sometimes, accidents just happen. Sometimes, scissors just slip. Like this one. Slipped. Right into the neck of the unprepared man. And the devilfruit was now Shads. He ate it on the spot, later he took the body out into the desert and burned it.
It was a time when people tended to vanish, so the loss of said agent was quickly forgotten. More importantly, his new powers were making his delinquent life a lot more fun and his work a lot easier. What irony- that he, of all people, should consume a cloth based fruit...
He got quite well known for his clothes, which he had started to design himself. Soon he was a kind of secret tip in designer circles.
When the world government called out to him, he was a little shocked at first, remembering the man he had killed. But he reminded himself that there was no way they'd ever connect that deed to him, and he set out the day after.
He had been called to... design... a suit for a high up agent, whos daughter had sworn that Shad was one of the best up and coming designers of the world. (He happened to meet this daughter later... happened to take her out for a drink... happened to sleep with her that same night... She happened to tell all her friends about it...Who happened to go out with him that night...)
After five days, his work was almost done. He was only a few steps away from completing the suit, when... his scissors slipped. It really was an accident this time. But it didn't keep the guards from calling murder. Now, he knew he was innocent, and he didn't want to be shot for that. So, when he saw the guards aim for him with their guns, he did what he had to do.- used his fruits powers to dress himself in a cloth that was hard enough to deflect the bullets- which then hit the guards!
He tried to run away peacefully, but the people kept on shooting him! And his improvised armour kept on deflecting!
It was a massacre.... And completely unintentional!
When he arrived at the port, he stole himself a boat and sailed off as fast as he could. He knew he couldn't go back to his home, so he decided for the closest thing: Make some use of his rebelliousness!
Personality:
Shad is a laid back guy who is easily bored, but always eager to find something that will ease this boredom. He's a real risk taker, and if there's a bar figh, he will definitely jump into it. Not start it, though. Too lazy for that.
He's always open for the ladies to come and have a drink with him, he'll gladly make them clothes, and he'll even more gladly take them home afterwards... only to forget their name the next day.
By no means is he psychotic like his brother, though he does seem a little obsessed with the revolution sometimes.
He's always been rebellious, against just about anything he can be rebellious about, but he was never really the political kind of guy... Up until he got his bounty, at least. For the sake of becoming a revolutionary, he checked the different ideologies and vibes of the groups, and to do that, he had to get a little more political. Still no real interest into it though.

This devil fruit must not be confused with Logia as the user can not turn his body into threads or cloths but is able to produce from any part of his limb threads or cloths.
Special Abilities: He trained his Devil Fruit powers for not just making clothes. He can make tents for max. 12 persons too. He just needs a little more time for it. He also can make a complete bed. (without the bedframe of course.)
Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25): He knows many pressure points on the humans body. So he can do things like: making people unable to move, dislocate body parts, cause some nasty cramps... but also things like massaging or accupuncture... Though he rarely uses it in combat, since he has his devilfruit to rely on.
Weapons/Items: The only weapon he ever had that injured someone besides his own body are his scissors.
Goals: Have as much fun as possible. Oh, and screw with the world government, while he's at it.
