Appearance: Ami is a very attractive girl, and she will never admit that she is. She has short purple hair that was dyed from light brown, and hazel eyes that has rings of green and brown in them. She has a heart-shaped face, and a very innocent look about her, which she uses to her advantage by tricking others into believing she is innocent and harmless. A very definite sign of recognising Ami is on her stomach, just below the hem of her t-shirt, is her parents crew's tattoo. It is a skull and crossbones with two lightning bolts behind it, and an eye patch over the left eye.
She likes to change her outfits daily, but her most famous outfit, (of which she is pictured with in her wanted posters) is a blue shirt with different silver coloured stars printed on it that cuts over her right shoulder and is cropped a couple of inches above her belly button; a pair of short black denim shorts that despite their appearence are very flexible; calf-high black boots with a small heel on them and black fingerless gloves which have a silver trim on them. She also has many bandages on her right arm, from her shoulder down to the tops of her gloves which she wears all the time. Behind these bandages are many ugly looking scars from her childhood.
History: Ami's parents were very famous pirates that ran the Lightning Strike pirates before she came to. They were orginally from the West Blue, but upon their travels decided to settle down in a safer part of the world to raise their child. (at the time, Ami's brother who's name is Zariah) They found Fuschia Village, and started their life there. Ami was born 6 years afterwards, and everything was going fine. That was until, there came an urgent call back in the West Blue from some relatives. Ami's father (Daichi) didn't want to leave his children alone, so he took them with him and his wife (Akane) in their ship. They reached the West Blue at last, and found that Ami's grandparents had been killed by the Navy in their own home. After the funeral, they headed back to Fuschia Village. When they arrived, the Navy was waiting there for them. Zariah was told to take Ami and run, leaving their parents who despite being good fighters, lost to the sheer number of men. Zariah (who was only 12 at the time) took his sister and they hid in the forests surrounding the village until the Navy had gone, and they had to go back and face their parents whom were floating face down in the sea. While they were hiding in the forest, Ami came across a funny looking fruit and not recognising it as a Goro Goro fruit, took a bite of it. At first, nothing happened to her. Then slowly, she began to feel strange, and she found that she could fire lightning from her fingertips and hands. And... she found that she couldn't swim anymore after she tried to rescue her parents from the sea. Her brother had to drag her out, and after some research, he knew that the fruit she had eaten was a Goru Goru Devil Fruit.
Zariah left their village to become a famous parent like their parents two years ago, and Ami hasn't heard of him since. Inside, she's extremely worried about him, but on the outside she keeps confident and sure he will return to share his journey exploits.
Personality: Ami is a very cheerful individual who is always upbeat and optimistic about problems. She has a very cheeky side to her which shows through most of the time, and is very brave. She will never give up a fight unless she has reason to, (and that isn't very often) like if her friends are in danger or will be if she continues to fight. She is loud and voices her opinions openly, good or bad, and isn't afraid of what others think of her. Due to her stubborn side, she will never give in with arguments and will just keep going until she has won. She is very competitive, and likes to think as things as a race, and loves to win. She is a very loyal friend and can see the inner good to most people whom she meets. However, is quite sweet tempered when she does lose, but it depends who to. She is very hyper active and likes to run around causing trouble for other people in her village. She has always been an ambitious girl, and determined too. Her bad points, is that she can become annoying to people who don't like her type of person. Plus, when she loses her temper she is very nasty and will say things she wouldn't usually.
Ship: A small 1 man boat of which she made herself to get between islands when she sets out on her journey.

Special Abilities: Ami is a very skilled medic as she has learnt to deal with wounds of her own earlier on in her life. Plus, she accidently took a bite out of a Goro Goro no Mi fruit when she was younger, so she can use lightning.
Learned Techniques: Quite a few sword techniques and many medic skills. She can make antidotes, poisons, bandage wounds, stitch wounds, etc. On top of these, she has her Goro Goro skills, which includes some basic lightning bolt and travelling at lightning fast speeds. Some examples:
Lightning Bolt: This move is a very simple one in the spectrum of the Goro Goro no Mi fruit. It allows Ami to summon a lightning bolt into any hand she wishes and then throw it at an opponent.
Static Body: By using the power of the Goro Goro no Mi, electricity is powered throughout Ami's body, and is used as a kind of contact shield. If anyone touches her while she is using this move, they will be shocked by the lightning. However, this move is quite hard for her to control, so she tries not to use it apart from in desperate situations.
Blinding Flash: This move is more of a confusion for Ami's opponents. She summons lightning into both her palms, and brings them together hard. This then gives off a blinding light so that it is difficult for anyone can see apart from her.
Electric Dash: This move allows Ami to move at incredibly fast speeds by summoning lightning into her legs to power herself. This tires her quickly though, so she tries not to use it so much in battle.
Lightning Punch: Effectively as it sounds, Ami charges an arm full with lightning and then lunges at her opponent in a powerful punch. This move is harder than it sounds and looks.
Lightning Kick: Also as it sounds, Ami charges lightning into one or both of her legs and kicks her target with a great force.
Lightning Strike: This move is by far the best Ami has mastered. She holds her palms outwards and gathers lightning into them, before crashing them down onto the ground. A few seconds afterwards, a huge array of lightning bolts will shower down from the sky. Ami can control where the lightning bolts hit also.
Weapons/Items: Medical Kit and Lightning Blades
Goals: Ami has a few goals to achieve in her life time. Her first one would be to find her brother, since he ran away from home two years ago to the Grand Line. She wants to see if he's alive or not.
Her second would be to carry on where her parents left off in the pirate world as famous pirates.
And number three, to become the Pirate Queen, a title which she had invented herself because she liked the ring to it and the fact that she would rule over all the other pirates.
