The sky sky fruit

Type: Paramecia

Appearance: A blue apple. There are irregular spirals on it resembling clouds. The color itself is dark blue and even purple at one half and light blue on another half. You'll see what that means in a second.

Operation: Straight out the bat, this is supposed to be an overpowered fruit, but I think it would be more than likely wielded by someone not very proficient in combat skills to balance it. Anyway, what the user can do, is cut a part of the sky and freely move it around. The thing is though, that along with the sky, anything that is opposite to it, say an island or water, will move opposite to that piece of sky. This basically means that the more sky you can cut, the more earth or water you control. Thus, the user can hold the cut sky in his hand and swing it so that the user basically wields a chunk of earth. The other big thing is indirectly controlling water. Now, I could imagine the user being a dimwitted person who just turned a whole marine fleet into the air and swing them around. One thing I should say, that objects or people affected by this devil fruit are not affected by gravity. The user could do the same with the night sky. But, the user's weakness would be being locked in a room.

Sorry for inactivity, and yes you could say that it is closer to the Gura Gura no mi than any other. It just seemed to me like such an epic idea to have huge landmasses be controllable to a user. I'd hope the user is strong enough in the new world too though.

Within this website we have a custom race known as molemen who can control metals, including masses of earth as earth is metal and minerals compacted together to allow for the direct control of earth. Additionally, the fruit is simply too large scale. Reality warping fruits exist, but their range is limited in specific ways. The ope ope no mi, the most powerful canon fruit, is limited to the room the user sustains for instance. Fruits cannot directy manipulate water as it hasn't been shown in canon and is against site rules. Depending on how drastically you are willing to change the fruit or what specific feats you want your character to be capable of, we can work with it. But as it is, the fruit is denied.
